2011 BOM Christmas Sampler Quilt

I have been contemplating a BOM for the last couple of years, an elegant Christmas sampler quilt. This one can be scrappy or not with greens, blues and creams with just a touch of brown, gold and red. My husband even likes the design. Instructions will be set up for a beginner quilter through an intermediate level quilter. By that I mean, the more advanced blocks can be replaced with a plain block for the beginner quilter and kept for the intermediate quilter. I will be posting it later this year for your viewing. Kits will also be available for this quilt. It should take 9-10 months to complete the top which should allow time to get it quilted and bound before Christmas 2011.

A Quilter's Paradise

Hi,

Welcome! I am an avid quilter that loves to design fun and novel patterns. I enjoy creating quilts for family and friends, and have found a great joy in sharing these designs with the people I love. I have found great friends within Susan Wood's site; Quilting: Where Imaginations Grow. I want to continue sharing with these friends and make many more by using this blog to help others find the joy in quilting that I have found.

I plan to provide festive patterns for many holidays throughout the year. I often find that creating these patterns can be very entertaining and rewarding. Afterall, the holidays can be very stressful! :) Also, I get a sense of satisfaction when others make quilts from my quilt designs.

I hope to be sharing those designs with you soon and look forward to hearing comments.

Thank you!
